The village fast became massively manifest, as sellers came to list all sorts of odd things and buyers thoroughly bought them. Relying on trust seemed to obligation remarkably sound, and meant that the point could almost be left alone to run itself. The hangout had been designed from the start to collect a puny fee on each sale, and it was this sugar that Omidyar used to pay for AuctionWeb’s expansion. The fees fast exceeding up to more than his current salary, and so he dogged to quit his job and work on the volume full - time. It was at this point, importance 1996, that he greater the feedback facilities, to let buyers and sellers rate each other and cause buying and selling safer.
